The S&P BSE Sensex
rose as much as 222 points to hit a fresh record high of 27248.79 in
trade on Monday, while Nifty
rallied 60 points to hit its fresh life high of 8146.55.
The 30-share index was at 27,231, up 204 points or 0.76
per cent. It touched a fresh record high of 27,248.79 and a low of
27,144.56 in trade today.
